Hello Surge team,
On macOS, Surge already has a useful option in Settings → General → Startup: “Launch Surge at Login”. However, when Surge starts with the system, it always shows both the Dock icon and the menu bar icon.
For users who run Surge permanently in the background as a network engine, it would be very convenient to have an option such as:
“Hide Dock icon when launched at login”
This way Surge could auto-start with only the menu bar icon visible, without any manual tweaks or app modifications, and the behavior would remain consistent after updates.
Could you please add this option in one of the next Surge?
Thank you for your great work on Surge!
