I'm using Checkpoint Endpoint Security VPN for work.
The behaviour of Surge while my work VPN is enabled is somewhat strange.
- After I disconnect from the work VPN Surge would stop working entirely – losing connection to the Internet.
- Even though I did not set up any rules within Surge to use the VPN connection, I can access the resources in my VPN network when it's connected.
- A proxy rule within Surge using network interface of the VPN, would not work: when the VPN is on, testing the proxy rule (clicking on it in Policy tab) would fail; when it is off, testing would succeed.
I suspect this could be because Checkpoint Endpoint Security VPN creates a Content Filter.
How can I fix this?
